Elkwood Golf Course first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Eric Pimperton.

Elkwood Golf Course plays to a 9-hole par of 36 and a maximum distance of 3,005 yards. Two water hazards come into play. One on hole #4 and again on hole #5. Hole #5 is the signature hole. This par 3 requires an over water drive onto a tree-surrounded green. Additional tees are available for those double looping for an eighteen hole round.
